About Mulang

Mulang is a Chinese American composer based in New York City.

An emerging voice in film, TV, and visual media, he has composed, orchestrated, and contributed additional music to projects premiering at major festivals like Sundance. His professional background extends to working with the Netflix Music Lab, Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, the Vancouver International Film Festival AMP program, and composers Greg Tripi and Mandy Hoffman.

When not in the studio sculpting sound or navigating the shape of a score, Mulang can be found seeking inspiration in art museums, exploring local coffee shops, or working at the pottery wheel. For him, pottery is a tactile practice that mirrors his musical philosophy: molding organic, chaotic elements into structured, functional art.
